I'm from the Washington D.C. area and I'm currently a senior pursuing a Graphic Design Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree at James Madison University.
For as long as I can remember, art has been an important part of my identity. I recognized my passion for art in first grade when an art committee chose my crayon portrait of my brother and I to display in a local hospital. I received an award and I enjoyed knowing that my work made sick children happy.
Ever since then, I knew that graphic design, illustrating, and storytelling is something that I want to pursue in my professional career.
